- Products description
"Made in Kuba (Live)" is available as limited double CD in a digipak.
An all-analogue double live album capturing SIENA ROOT’s full dynamic range from light to shade. "Dynamic Root Rock Experience" remains the best description of their sound, and the new live album "Made in Kuba" embodies that spirit. A follow-up to their acclaimed "Root Jam", it includes tracks from their full catalog, none repeated. As with all SIENA ROOT records, it’s fully analogue. While most bands wouldn't bring a tape recorder to a gig, SIENA ROOT embraces the no-compromise approach. No overdubs, no tricks - just real energy from stage to speakers. The core quartet Sam Riffer, Love Forsberg, Zubaida Solid, Johan Borgström is joined live by Erik Peterson and Lisa Isaksson. Longtime engineer Ove Noring handled the tape recording.
Recorded live with the Root Rock Mobile Studio at KuBa in Jena, Germany March 13-15, 2024. Mixed at Root Rock Studio, Stockholm, by SIENA ROOT.
